That sounds like a real good setup you have all in a 4RU case.

Would you post some pictures to share what you have done and your typical setup when in use. I am doing something similar but using TVS when I get it completed.

Thanks for the info about using Nero. I have had a look at that, Nero 11 is a pretty comprehensive bundle with lots of programs in the pack, features other than DVD writing do not interest me in this instance.

– What other programmes did you try out before your success with Nero?

– What settings did you use when recording with Media Express, resolution, interlaced or progressive etc?

Hello Doug,
I looked at your recording. Good, I find the sound very acceptable as there is only 1 frame delay in the ATEM, I know what 4 frames looks like. You have to look very hard to see there is a slight delay that you and I know about. Well done.
How have you found v2.8 to use? My system is still in construction, It will be a mobile unit in the back of my van.

Your recording sample looks smart

You might try the later switcher download v2.8 recently out. It uses different record programme much easier to record from within the switcher window.

This may fix your problem of keeping the sound synchronized when recording

Yes I wish to get TVS output to DVD also. It doesn’t seem simple or foolproof.

I have considered recording direct out of TVS via HDMI to Y,Pb,Pr converter as I have a desktop DVD recorder with Y,Pb,Pr input. It would be very reliable.

Would like to hear from anybody who does DVD recordings.

Hello Richard,
I have recently had delivery of the TVS after long wait for supply. I agree with you that it was very hard getting to find all the specifications especially what equipment it would work with. I got the wrong resolution monitor for mulitview. It doesn’t actually say unless you read between the lines. Yes I downloaded the software and manual too but it’s not operational until the switcher is connected. This makes life even more difficult. Full details should be in the manual along with a good index.

Input Routing for TVS
Input 1 & 2 = HDMI only
Input 3 & 4 = select HDMI or SDI
Input 5 & 6 = SDI only

I like to see happy customers. As I am in the same situation needing an output from laptop I have a question.

If the laptop is usedf in a lecture how are you going to output both to the projector aAND the converter feeding ATEM switcher???

I thought of using one of the USB to HDMI converters. Has amyone tried one of these?
