I’m just sifting through the board here but it sounds like it might be an interlacing issue in AE. Do an interpretation on your footage (click on item in project window and do a cntrl-f I think) and change it from its default frame to lower field first (assuming you’re using lower field dominant stuff). Then render to fields (assuming your final output is fields) and see if that helps?

I figured it out. I did a selection > Modify > expand 5 pixels and the selection included my stroke. Then just made an alpha.

Some eyewire footage gets shipped with AE comps on the disc if that’s what you mean.

Hi, Luke. Does the same hold true for cards installed who aren’t being used at the same time? I’m looking into a playbox system and I’m told the playout isn’t that stable for decklink cards (some sort of audio sync issue) so I’m planning on getting a supermicro X5DA8 MB with Stradis SDM-290 or HD card and a decklink hd card (any card that will do both HD and SD mpeg-2).
