this has come through a customer who is a broker and its for replication, i didn’t author the DVD

this has gone for replication and been rejected due to the break point
and i’m assuming whoever originally did the authoring cant make/fix the break point

i’ve managed to get a DDP file with Gearpro using the ‘layer break calculator’ to get a break point and changing the point in Gearpro settings

do you think that will work?

so a combination of GearPro and ‘The Layer Break Calculator’ has allowed me to create a DDP file which i couldn’t manage to do before

so…. is that gonna keep the duplicator happy or not?

i have GearPro mastering, ImgBurn, IfoEdit but i’ve never had to correct a layer break as bad as this before

2hrs 30mins, DVD is just over 8Gb

errrr… slight problem here,
computer says

“unable to find any suitable cells that could be used for layer break”

this is using ImgBurn

could be a MAJOR problem?

i need to create a new breakpoint, customer says duplicators wont accept the DVD as is

apologies for the vagueness but ‘SOME’ DVD players is all i get from the customer so i assume it plays in some and not in others, it wont play in ANY of my DVD players
