pan/crop isn’t a DVE Mike, is there a DVE or simple freeform resize for Vegas? sorry but the Vegas pan/crop makes no sense to me?

It’s a pan/crop tool tho, isn’t there a simple DVE where i can just drag the graphic to where i want it? and why do you have to move the workspace instead of the clip/graphic in pan/crop?

hear you loud and clear Eric, i’m gonna pass on BD authoring, the cost and learning curve doesn’t add up at this stage for me, plus i’m still waiting for a customer to ask for a BD disc?

and i guarantee when someone does they wont want to pay any extra for the authoring

that figures Bill, i was thinking it was maybe the overall thickness of the disc. i just tried turning a Verbatim disc over and guess what…
the Composer picks it. for some reason DVD discs are not a problem, it’s CDr’s.

this is definately a disc problem and a CD one at that. the system picks DVD’s no problem. it seems to be the latest batch of Verbatim CD’s, they must be manufacturing them thicker or thinner i think.

this a reply i got from another forum…

“Now you can play camera files straight from USB stick on TV’s, DVD/BD players or tiny stand alone $50 boxes like O!play. You can store them on NAS and stream them to ipad.
A BD disk is actually pretty limiting medium for home made stuff if you think about it. Once you start putting your files to terabyte NAS and stream them around your house, going to BD feels like a big step back”
