On the still image on the time line, right mouse click, then select Properties and Un-tick Maintain Aspect ratio. See if that cues it…

It looks like an interlace problem. Is there an option in “Encoder to render” to turn off Interlace?

When you click on “Render” a box opens and as it is rendering you need to make sure the “Close this box when rendering completes” is Un-ticked and then when it is finished you get the option to Open the finished video

I did try to cut it into small segments but difficult to maintain a smooth transition of the blue and if it did work if would be difficult to explain exactly how to do it. But like all questions on here if there is a sample of the media then I like to see what’s possible. Not heard anything back from Michiel so maybe he already solved it…. John

I tried to do it with the NewBlue V2 Colour Swap but as JR mentions the transition from where the white is to the blue sky is a bit of a problem. I did only spend some minutes on it so maybe with some effort you can get a better result.
You may be able to do it in small segments in the changes. I did not manage to change the whole sky to the blue that you wanted but just tried to get rid of the white. Just a short clip link of the result.https://www.dropbox.com/s/37mg3y5w5aaowxa/test%20blue%20NewBlue%20sky.mp4

That’s great. It is always nice to know the final outcome as others may have had this problem and need a solution. I guess you will not use the MP4 options.. Regards John

What is the Spec of your PC?

If the quality is good then that is the actual DVD Mpeg requirement. WMP is a bit useless sometimes and nothing to do with your output video. WMP does not have the relevant Codec and VLC does. When you make a DVD from your Mpeg file it will be OK on any DVD player. I don’t use Youtube that much and when I have I usually make an MP4 file 1280×720 as I still use VP 10e. In your version of VP12 there is an upload option for Youtube .. Go to FILE – top left…and select Upload to Youtube. You then get a Template you need to fill in with the relevant user name, etc, etc. If it does not look good on Youtube you can always delete it and then we need to find out what is wrong with your MP4 Render… Maybe Mike who also has giving you an input may comment. The bit that concerns me is that you can’t use the Sony AVC template but if you can use the Mpeg then worry about it later////
