thanks Chris for the swift reply! i tried changing the interpretation and it changed the pattern to a bit less visible though didn’t fully remove it, i wonder if the pattern is in the file itself? i however got rid of the pattern by tweaking the curves>alpha just a bit. i still need to figure out a decent solution for this problem, but the curves will do for now.
