Okay. I guess I just have to redo this time then. Thanks for the help again, and now the information about working between different versions of Final Cut will be easily available to others 🙂

Really, so it is like that.. And I really tried to find anything about this before and didn’t, only that it doesn’t work between FCPX and FCP7. Couldn’t imagine since it’s the same file type that it wouldn’t work.

Thank you a lot for reply though.

So I’m considering upgrading my FCPX to a post-10.1 version. Do you know if that would work on OS X Mountain Lion?
