Walter, thank you for the advice. Drive 2 is an internal drive that handles nothing but Final Cut Studio, I reformatted them after installing and after clicking “Get Info” on Drive 2, it is indeed Journaled not Extended. I switched the scratch disc to Drive 2, tried to save and same error message. Must I reinstall everything on Drive 2? Hope not, but if needs be. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Once again Michael thanks for the advice, still no go. Let me explain what I’m working with so you know what I’m using. Have three hard drives, drive 2 only handles Final Cut Studio, but the projects all get saved to my Lacie. Never had this problem before with other projects. I thought maybe it was the Lacie, so when I “save as” I chose drive 2 instead, same error message. So it must be the project file itself that is causing the trouble. So frustrating it is, I recently used Dick Warrior on Drive 2, could this have changed something? Once again, any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Michael, thanks for the reply. Clicked ignore permissions, didn’t work. I cannot “save” or “save as”, when I quit FCP it asks do I want to save but still gives me the same error message. I can’t figure out why this is happening now. Thanks again!
