Have you used the Graph Editor much? I think this would help with your acceleration.

Find a couple simple videos to get the hang of it but it’s probably going to make your shot a lot more realistic once you play around with it.

Hi Will!

If it’s something you need and you need it fast, I don’t see the problem with it. Is purchasing stock video or graphics bad? How about scripts that expedite things you already know? The only thing I could see wrong with it is if it’s taking a shortcut because you’re unable to do it, you’re probably losing out on an educational opportunity. Also, if it’s not in your style or it’s quite obvious it’s just stock it doesn’t have that touch that may be unique to you. But if it’s helpful and you can make it your own who cares.
