I am experiencing the exact same issue only I’m not speed ramping. I just want a clip to play at 50%. However, as soon as I change the speed, it jumps back to an area before the point I want it to start twixtoring.

If anyone else comes across this issue here is how you solve it. Make sure you have the browser window selected and nothing else, then export an XML.

I have heard that Avid has a faster workflow as in keyboard shortcuts for everything and a better media organizational system.

That is disappointing about having to reconvert media to MXF for MC5, I’ve been wanting to dip my toes into to AVID for some time, as I know that it is the “industry standard”.
