Has anybody ever answered this? I still haven’t heard of a workflow that makes more sense for a long project.

I don’t want to get too far off-topic, but I wonder about the possibility of running After Effects in Windows on the new Macs. From everything I read, the Intel Macs run Windows applications at nearly Identical speeds to traditional Windows computers. Could it be that Adobe now has no incentive to keep developing a Mac version of After Effects? How does the performance of Mac and Windows versions compare?

Outputting to DVDSP 4 still requires 12+hours of rendering for a single-pass burn.

And yet the AJA web site states explicitly “Available in PCI/PCI-X compatible as KONA LH”. Damn.
