    the only solution for premiere pro is upgrade to cs5
    LPCM works fine

    Hi Josh
    1. If you recorded in 720×576 use the same settings in PPro (check if you used 50i or 25p)
    2. are you using PPro 4.2.1?

    3. for better quality you should record in AVCHD settings

    Hi Dennis
    i had same problem with audio in nxcam,
    is your audio set to LPCM?
    if yes so that’s the problem
    with some reason CS4 will play it back distorted
    there is 2 solutions: (until it will be sorted)
    1- sony vegas
    or
    2- set audio to AC3 (dolby digital)

    I am not the only one with problem with Linear PCM
    what is bad that it is a problem and I can’t fully enjoy my NXCAM on PPro which I used to
    just waiting for solution because I have tried almost every setting on the cam and PPro

    Yes PPro is 4.2.1
    still no difference

    same with nxcam?
    I did not found any solution yet
    and when asked sony support they said that they are not using PPro 😉
    Bill I hope that Adobe team met this problem as well.

    that is the problem I want to use original file and work with uncompressed Linear PCM
    Sony Vegas can read it, so I am guessing that there is something wrong with PPro
