Yes I render the clip after it is edited and put transitions into the edited sequence. I still think this is a huge bug because you can tell the program would like to display the two cameras but it flashes back to the 1up screen. Why wouldn’t it display the 2 cameras or for that fact 16 cameras after it is rendered, this boggles me. I do appreciate all the responses, the work around like I stated was to delete the render files and the multicam works pretty good. It’s just not a smooth application.

When I am editing a 2 camera shoot with the multicam function of FCP, the 4 up screen(4 camera screen) function stops working and I only see 1 camera at a time, thus not a multicam function anymore. The only way to fix this is to delete the render files of the sequence. My question is, when will Apple fix this and the rest of the bugs in the software. Has anyone heard of a version update coming out soon? I am becoming increasingly disappointed with FCP for all the bugs and quarks this software has.
