How does the quality hold up? Does it still look good once you get it into FCP? I may want to do some green screen stuff so the whole point is to get the crisp HD resolution (even though its not real HD).
In terms of time–how long does it take to load, say, 20 minutes of video from the camera hard drive to the computer? Then how long does it take to convert?

I know this post is a few months old, but I’m about to embark on a project where I am considering using the hdr-sr7 for a webbased project that will be edited on Final cut. I was wondering if you figured out a solution to your problem and how you otherwise found compatibility betweeen FCP and this camera?
