I tried exporting the CD audio track at 47.952 and reimporting, but it still drifts, It was 44.1 to start with

I sent the audio people your thoughts and requested they try adjusting audio as you suggested. Thank you very much. I’ll let you know the outcome.

The aif files are on an audio CD, 44.1
I shot on standard dv on a sony pd150, 48 khz samling rate, 16 bit

I am not capturing the DAT tapes. The sound man was doing that and transferring to a CD after mixing. They are given to me as audio files from Pro tools or on a CD with .aif files
