In that case, i’am considering this set up,

amd athlon 64-bit cpu( i think it has firewire already)
a pny or ati graphics card
2gb memory
(3) 160 gb sata hardrive
17″ samsung lcd widescreen

*will this be powerful enough to run premiere pro, after effects and photoshop? im really after the video-out option of after effects, to see the output in a tv monitor.

i will keep that in mind. how about rendering?will it be fast enough also? im also gonna be using after effects. as of now im contemplating weather to get an intel p4 or an amd athlon..any advice?
