To add to this discussion, I never had problems sleeping my (first generation) Mac Pro with a Kona LHe card installed until OS 10.5.6 was introduced. I did a fair amount of troubleshooting and found that when running OS 10.5.5, my Mac Pro sleeps fine. But once OS 10.5.6 is installed, the computer freezes upon waking from sleep.
