Just copy and paste that whole http address into your browser and the library will download automatically. At least it worked for me.

I appreciate your insight, and BTW I recently received your training DVD – looking forward to getting the time to go throught it.

I tried shortening the Life value but then the dots just disappear sooner. It must just be something special about these “Dot” emitters that I am not understanding. Other emitters animate just fine in size and zoom. Thanks anyway, I’ll just keep experimenting.

To zoom in and out on the timeline use OPTION + , OPTION – (using either the =/- keys on the qwerty keyboard or the +,- on the numeric keypad.

Technically there is no difference other than you can’t use it for commercial purposes and it cannot be upgraded. All the features are identical otherwise.

If you don’t have Toast it can be done very easily with Disk Utililty:

    1. Insert disc to be copied, launch Disk Utility
    2. Select the disc in the Source List
    3. Click New Image button – select “DVD/CD Master” from the Image Format pop-up menu, “None” from the Encryption menu
    4. Name the disc, and click Save

Once the Disc Image has been created select it in the Source List and click Disk Utility’s “Burn” button. Insert blank disc.

It sounds like you would want to use After Effects and distribute the stills (layers) along the road in Z space and animate the camera down the road. You might try emailing Total Training and getting the specifics of their technique but I believe this is what they did. Digital Anarchy has a “3D Assistants” plugin (https://www.digitalanarchy.com/3Dassist/3Dassist_main.html) that simplifies arranging layers in 3D space but you can do this fairly easily in After Effects alone. Good luck.

Other than that “The Kid Stays in the Picture” effect which isn’t zooming through stills, you just need to arrange stills in Z space in After Effects and either move them towards the camera or move the camera through space past them. I haven’t seen Total Training’s example but I’m guessing this is the effect you want. Hope this helps.
