I’m new to FCP and discovered today that the soft drop shadows I applied in Boris Title 3D would disappear during a cross dissolve between two of the titles, as in a text build. I haven’t seen anything about that issue in this forum. I found that applying the shadow in the Motion tab, as Chris suggested, was a better route.
