I’m tempted to just make the audio start 3 seconds later, but it sort of defeats the purpose of even having menu music. I burnt another few dvds and the problem doesn’t happen when I use VLC but it still happens on both (one from 2008 and one from 2001) dvd players. It even happens for the first 2-3 seconds of movies.

thank you! and another question: I’ve burnt two copies of the movie, one regular and one in 24p and I’m not quite satisfied with either. The 24p version looks much slower than 24fps and isn’t very smooth. The regular version on the other hand looks very fast in comparison. a happy medium would be nice. thanks for the help though!

here are some screen shots to show precisely what’s going on

so I select the DVD Architect NTSC 24 P template:

I go to custom and select the settings that I want and then press ok:

and then immediately the template changes back to (untitled):

This happens with either DVDA NTSC or DVDA NTSC 24P, but just last night it worked perfectly under DVDA NTSC.

where can i find an mpeg 2 codec? that’s the only reason why I used divx, because I’m familiar with it and know how to get great quality out of it.
