I have never felt a need for printing larger than 8.5 x 11, mostly just DVD cases for customers. Thanks for your ideas, and I will look into this printer also. Jim

I could get the Canon IP7250 for a really nice price now. I would probably just use the Canon inks, because I do not produce nearly as many as you.

What software do you use to design the surface pictures of the DVD?

I am assuming the rollers do not leave a mark/smudge on the surface of the DVD, as another person posted. (I had a similar problem with an HP printer that I tried to use previously. )

    Thanks for your suggestions. Jim

It looks like everything is working ok now. I re-captured the video for the sections that were causing problems. I then re-rendered the project, and brought it into DVDA. So far so good. Perhaps something had gotten corrupted. Not sure, but glad it is working. Best to all, Jim Murphy

    Steve,
I re-rendered. “Quantize to Frames” was already checked. The problem is still showing up.

The only other thing I can think to do is to recapture that part of the video, take out the old clips, and add from what I recaptured.

    Any other ideas? Thanks, Jim

Sam, you made my day!! I think I had the gpu acceleration turned off before I re-installed Vegas, but I had forgotten about that. As you can imagine it was so frustrating when it would not render. I think things will go ok now. The reception part rendered without any problems. Thanks so much!! Jim

Vegas used to have a decent video stabilizer. I don’t need it that much, but I like to have a good one when I need it. The one in VP 12 takes forever, and does not do that good a job. Jim

Vegas is working again. I formatted the drive and added the OS and reloaded Vegas 12. Thanks to everyone who posted. Jim

Tried removing the usb devices. Still the same problem.

I already tried two of the few restore points that were available, with the same results. Thanks for posting, Jim

Before posting I was assuming I would have to start from scratch, as you suggest. I was hoping there was a simpler fix. Probably will wait a day or so to see if anyone comes up with that. Then proceed as you suggest. Thanks, Jim
