									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class = "activity-discussion-title-wrap"><a href="https://creativecow.net/forums/thread/expression-ignored-even-though-it-has-no-error/">Expression Ignored even though it has no error</a></p> <div class="bb-content-inr-wrap"><p>So I have these two comps with a text element scripted in an expression to source from a layer (&#8220;Text 01 native&#8221; in the same comp then the output will be set to another comp (&#8220;_Mograph&#8221;). </p>
<p>When I switch to the &#8220;_Mograph&#8221; comp, the text is mysteriously sourced from a different layer &#8220;Text 01&#8221;</p>
<p>But the original expression has no errors. Why is it being&hellip;</p>

Is this a bug?</p>

I thought this expression will drive the lower layer to rotate 5 seconds behind the top layer but they are rotating in sync. the expression seems valid with no error. What did I miss here?</p>
