Thanks Blast, I agree with all you said, especially bringing an $18,000 camera on location and decided to purchase these two items:

1)M-Audio Fast Track US44010 USB Audio Interface with Software
    2) Shure Pro Microphone System 8900WD with Cable, Adapter, Microphone Bag, Holder and Tripod Desk Stand

Thanks Scot, I actually thought of that myself, but didn’t want to waste the video tape…but how about I use my camera and then record that into On Location…I would still get the video though when I brought into PPro, but better than throwing tape away. What do you think?

Thank you Blast…never even considered a USB mic, that’s genius. I’ll look into it and make the $30 investment. Sound quality is not a major issue here, clips of surgeries being compressed for web with narration. Appreciate your time and knowledge.

Hi, I have soundbooth installed on the same laptop. Pretty sure it’s mic in. Thanks.

Hi Michael, thank you for the info…it touched off a several hour research session. If you don’t use subtitle, can I ask what method you do use? Do you know if Subtitles satisy the ADA?

Hi, The problem is really strange as it only happens in one of four existing projects created with the previous version of Premiere Pro. The fields are not being interlaced when using filters or transitions. I have a Matrox RTX2 and they are looking into it as well. Thanks.

Thank you Joe for that great explanation…glad to see that you’re still around helping users. I guess I need to delve into the benefits of using the linking feature. Thanks again, can’t wait to install

Well Chris, I’m glad I found someone who agrees with me and I agree with the ass kissing comment. I really didn’t think I was off base here. Like I said, I’m not looking to book other event jobs. Hers was actually the last one I shot, but once in awhile I have another videographer shoot one for a repeat client and I do the editing. Since this is her last kid, I haven’t received any referrals from her. She did call me 3 years ago saying she would drop off pictures, but wanted VHS instead of DVD’s. That should tell you what I’m dealing with. Thanks for the validation.
