Not sure what you mean when you save ‘convert’. I had to set the project parameters prior to capture, I selected what I thought would be closest. I picked DV since it was the best choice I thought due to the VHS being SD format, others were HD format. I will try ProRes in the future, I know for years it has been the go to codec. Just tried to get something that was close to the format I was working with. Been a long time since I had to work with SD footage. Thanks for your replies
