Unfortunately, FCP X does not allow arbitrary setting of resolutions in order to work with dotspots at their native resolution. That said, you can pick a superset of our resolution and then work with your dotspot centered, then export using compressor and cropping tools. It’s not ideal, but it’s the best workflow until FCP X gains true custom resolution settings.

I’d also like you to know that this quarter we’ll be launching our online editor, which will allow you to “point” the camera virtually without the need to download your dotspot to a desktop editor.
