    You are correct. Audio TC has to be included in the metadata. There must be a way to include the audio TC to an AUX column in Avid and duplicated into the Sound TC column.

    Audio TC is absolutely critical to the eventual sound conform and mix. Even when synced, sound and picture TC will drift by a frame or two. You can never just use video TC.

    I’ve gotten Resolve dailies from professional labs. I know there is some kind of workaround to get the sound TC metadata in the Avid MXF/AAF/XML. I’ve seen it written to an AUX TC and that can be duplicated into the “Sound TC” column and therefor the EDL to sound will be spot on.

    I can see the AUDIO TC in the Resolve burins so the information is there.
