  • Thanks for helping, and confirming problem exists.

    1) if possible could you confirm wether AECS6 masks paste properly in to PSCS6 on Your machine?

    also, you wrote..
“..Well, if the photoshop document is also 1920×1080 with a pixel aspect ratio of 1, then I am officially stumped..”

    2) how do i confirm Photoshop document pixel aspect ratio please?

    appreciate it,
    Jeff

  • footage in the project pane dimensions are exactly:
    “1920 x 1080 (1.00):”

  • Thanks again Dave,
the AE comp setting Pixel Aspect Ratio: Square Pixels,
    Frame Aspect Ratio = 16:9 (1.78).

    3) How do i determine or assign the Photoshop Pixel Aspect Ration please?,

    2) Also, or if you or anyone knows of any way to distort or warp Bezier masks within AE please let me know?

  • Hi,
thanks for your reply Dave, but as i’d written:”..i’ve been careful to only edit Masks and not their solid layers or the comp size and scale. So neither layers or comps have been scaled or shifted. I also insure the layers and comps remain the same size and position as when created..”, despite this AE masks pasted in PS are still different scale and position.

    2) Also, or if anyone knows of any way to distort or warp Bezier masks within AE please let me know?

Any other suggestions or answers much appreciated,
    Jeff

    Hello,..
sorry for responding with new question but i could’nt see how to post a new one.

Could anyone please show me how to fill an AE layer with grayscale particles emitted in the camera or viewer direction (or along the Z Axis), and that are colored brighter as they grow further from the emitter or closer to the camera? IE: like a particle depth map or displacement map!
Please let me know as soon as possible, thanks much,
    Jeff:780 425 4914, feel free to call.
