    Hey Dan.

I will take your comment about marketing as a compliment. I am the owner and creator of SpeedLooks and also created all of our marketing material. 🙂

I would like to comment on your posting “just a lot of marketing and some basic grades”.

SpeedLooks are far from basic grades…in fact they are not grades at all. SpeedLooks are 3D LUTS based on 35mm shooting stocks. They are true film emulation and transform digital footage into the color space of 35MM film.

SpeedLooks have been used on hundreds of commercials, music videos, corporate videos and network television programs. Check out the link below to the CBC drama “Trauma”; this program is shot on the Arri Alexa camera with SpeedLooks applied on set and finessed in the post-production process with SpeedGrade, to give the series a rich and dramatic film look.

And lastly SpeedLooks work in all major color correction systems (SpeedGrade, Resolve, Film Light, Scratch, Lustre….) and LUT boxes/monitors.

    Hey Jim

SpeedLooks work great with the 5D II. In fact SpeedLooks are optimized for all major cameras (ALEXA, RED, Sony S-LOG, 5D/7D, REC 709).

SpeedLooks use LOG-C as thier base. So if you shoot 5D with the Technicolor profile and then apply the SpeedLook 5D patch (5D Technicolor to LOG-C) SpeedLooks looks just work and are beautiful.
