I bolted a baby pin (5/8) in one side of a grip head. This allows me to put a light fixture on the stud on top of the grip head and an arm on the same stand. You’ll need a short bolt (3/8-16 IIRC) to lock in the baby pin- and allow the knob on the grip head to clear.

a Lowel Lobo clamp will also allow you to put an arm right on a small stand if the load is not too heavy.
