    The media folder rename worked fine, but when I went to change it back to the original and re-link, I had the same issue.

    After trying many combo’s of changing the folder name, moving the .sfk and .bak files into a different folder, it still would not accept the original location name when prompted to re-link the media.

    So, I have changed the media folder name and re-linked the media with the various Vegas project files that I have.

    nothing is ever easy…;)

    I had a similar problem where I couldn’t open a SVP10 file and the app would just say ‘not responding’ after 10 seconds and would need to end task. The removal of the sony sfk files did not work for me though.

    I just resolved the issue by renaming one of the media folders in the project and when I opened the project I got the prompt for re-linking the media. All is better now 🙂
