Well this is what i did.

1. Exported from flash to avi in 720×550 resolution
2. Bought them into premiere, and exported at 720×576 in 16:9 ratio
3. Then authorized a DVD at 4:3 aspect ratio.

It didnt play properly. Still the same problem of video stretching out of screen. What i noticed was the part that stretches out also lies outside the outer safe area in encore. I also tried 5:4 aspect ratio hopping it would work, that didnt work either, i even tried square aspect ratio.

Then i tried converting the movies to 16:9 ratio in premiere and bought them into encore and made a 4:3 aspect ratio DVD, even in this a bit of the movie is falling out of the safe area, which i assume will not show up in the TV normanly and would stretch out

Do i need to re design the flash animations accordingly ?

I created the way you told me to. Also created a movie with 5:4 aspect ration.

One point is that encore stretches the video to 720×576, respective of what resolution i import.

I still have the same problem after what joe told me to do. The left top part of the video gets out of the viewing area.

I am a bit confused as to where the problem is? Do i need to change some setting in encore?

BTW here we use PAL-B , would that create some problems?
