I set up a shot similar to yours–CRT television, camera shooting 24p at 1/60 no problem. Tried again adjusting the ESC, again no problem.
And no, it’s not a CMOS issue.

Yes, it could have been corrected. Such are the hazards of shooting with an unfamiliar camera.

No, the EX cameras do not have a Continuous Clip Mode.
Is that more important to you than a superior image?

EDIT:
I think you may be referring to the issue of FAT32 on the SDHC cards, which automatically divides long takes into 12-13 minute clips. That is an *entirely* different thing.
It is NOT stitching together many shorter shots/takes. As I pointed out, it’s just the opposite.

Nope, because they aren’t.
A “shot” (take) is from camera on to camera off.

Go to Video Set in Menu.
Select YPbPr/SDI out Select.
Your choices should be:
HD
SD
Off -
Bob, I’d shoot normal and do the effect in post. You’ll have far more control that way.
