All I have is “free space display options, default prepare folder, temporary files folder”, and “render options”.
I’m working with DVDA Pro 5b. Not sure if that matters or not, but wanted to mention it.

But, it worked when I moved the ISO image to another machine. I have no idea why or what the deal is. I did the entire project over from scratch on my high-end machine and still the same thing happened. Different files went into the project all the way around and still the same result. But, moving the ISO to another machine caused the burn to behave normally. I double-checked the finished product and not a flaw anywhere.
What in the world? I wish I had some understanding of what the issue is on the high end machine, and why it’s only isolated to this one project. I’m happy the project is done and my client will be satisfied, but mentally I am very frustrated at the overall issue. I guess I won’t really know more until my next project and if it happens again.

March 1, 2014 at 10:18 pm in reply to: Cannot burn ISO image rendered by DVD Architect, contains videos/audio files rendered in Sony VegasI started the project all over from the beginning. Fed the source video into the editing machine again. Edited and rendered in Sony Vegas. All went well. Built the disc in DVD Architect again. All previews were flawless.
I go to render/burn the final product to disc again — and SAME THING.
I am absolutely bewildered.

February 28, 2014 at 5:38 pm in reply to: Cannot burn ISO image rendered by DVD Architect, contains videos/audio files rendered in Sony VegasThe VHS tape is something that was produced locally about 25 years ago. I fed it into my editing machine using the Dazzle DVD recorder USB capture device since my HD-PVR doesn’t reading anything with an output below 480i. I’ve used this method on several other VHS upscale conversions and not had any problems until now. Normally if something goes screwy with the initial feed in, Vegas will normally not open the video file at all and crash. When this happens I always have to feed the source video in again. Usually, when Vegas opens it up I’m golden from there. No strange occurrences happened with this process all the way up to the point where the ISO is about to be written to disc. Never seen anything like it. I’ve checked over the project in DVD Architect a hundred times and nothing is out of the ordinary. No symptoms or signs of trouble anywhere as would normally be the case.
One last T/S step I’m going to try before doing the whole project over as Steve suggested: I’m going to move the ISO file to another machine and try to burn it from there. Something tells me I’m wasting my time but I’m willing to give it a shot before starting over from scratch.
