Hi Tiffany, sorry I’m late to the party. I’ve seen editors edit from a sync stack, but the problem with that is that once you make an edit, you lose all association with all of the other media. For example if you’re half way through an edit and you want to match frame to see what other angles might be available – you can’t because it hasn’t been grouped. You would just match frame back to the master clip itself.
