Last night I was able to fix my problem. I’m a beginner pro12 user. My Go Pro footage was 1080, 29.9fps. I was attempting to render based on a vimeo tutorial. Pull up Render As and immediately I was unchecking the box that says “Match project settings” to bring up a more thorough list of render settings. Vimeo tutorial said to pick Sony AVC/MVC and go to render setting at bottom Bluray 1920×1080-24, 10mbps… I did, and was never able to pull down any settings in the Format area under the System tab. What I did to fix my problem was I checked the box Match project settings and then under the Sony AVC/MVC was one singular option available it was Internet 1920×1080-30p I chose it and next to my format option read MP4 format, which was what I was aiming for. So there you have it, my problem and my solution from a beginners point of view, hope it helps someone. And thanks to my previous responders
