Not sure that I can offer any significant solutions, but I know that a couple ppt versions ago, file name length produced playback issues for me.

I’ve always been confused about how ppt for pc won’t handle h264, but ppt for Mac will.

I try to stay away from ppt…it always seems like I have problems

Have u checked source file? Have u tried to compress to different template? Have u tried send to compressor instead of exporting?

I’ve seen this done with high-speed cameras…the one I’m remembering is a train station, train drives by very quickly, so when played back train moves at a nice panning speed, but the elements (people walking, etc) look like they are in slow motion.

“CableLabs Profiles Specification” Not sure what this means…but I can tell you that in the 10 years I’ve been producing video, I’ve never seen an aspect like that. It’s some sort of almost square aspect. NTSC DV video is 720×480 with either a pixel aspect ratio of .9 (for 4×3) or 1.2 (for 16×9)

The square pixel equivalent of each of these respectively is 720×540 and 864×480 (or 853×480) I may be confusing 864 in relation to D1 video which is 720×486.

So unless this video has been cropped, or it isn’t a standard frame size…it seems that your aspect would be out of proportion.

I could be wrong….I don’t deal in broadcast very often.

A program that is much more full-featured in creating custom settings is Episode Pro, it has a ton of options when making custom transcode settings.

This is a good question, I’m interested in a response. It may be to set a separate resize…but I’m not sure u could do square pixels with mpeg2.
