“CableLabs Profiles Specification” Not sure what this means…but I can tell you that in the 10 years I’ve been producing video, I’ve never seen an aspect like that. It’s some sort of almost square aspect. NTSC DV video is 720×480 with either a pixel aspect ratio of .9 (for 4×3) or 1.2 (for 16×9)
The square pixel equivalent of each of these respectively is 720×540 and 864×480 (or 853×480) I may be confusing 864 in relation to D1 video which is 720×486.
So unless this video has been cropped, or it isn’t a standard frame size…it seems that your aspect would be out of proportion.
I could be wrong….I don’t deal in broadcast very often.
A program that is much more full-featured in creating custom settings is Episode Pro, it has a ton of options when making custom transcode settings.
