Are you able to post a screenshot of your timeline?
I have not experienced this. I’m wondering if there is a secondary storyline or some other way you have the clips grouped that could be causing this behavior.

If anyone else has an alternative or better option, please let us know.

For me, the default drop shadow opacity is 75%. Could this be causing the slight color cast you’re seeing?
Can you upload a screenshot?

Take a look at the video linked below. Hopefully that will explain it.
Basically, just close the compound clip. Then shorten the compound clip by dragging the right handle to the left. Let go. Then, drag that right handle back to the right until the red line appears.

Hi Brett,
Were you able to get an answer to this? I’m not confident I understand the question completely, but the Keyframe editor is where I go for those adjustments. This article explains it: https://support.apple.com/kb/PH16083
Does that help at all?

Hopefully, this issue is already resolved, if not, I would recommend trying the steps in the article linked below. You might need to reset preferences.

You’re welcome. Remember that RAID 0 is great for performance but if one of the drives fails, all data on the RAID is lost. Take the time to make a backup elsewhere, just in case.

That’s expected behavior. RAID 0 is stripped allowing for better performance but no redundancy. The link below goes into more detail.
Striped (RAID 0) set: A striped RAID set can speed up access to your data. You can’t create a RAID set on your startup disk; you must first start up your computer from another disk.

I’m curious, what happens when you click on the angle and press Shift-Z?
Does this issue happen with other clips?

Good find and thank you for posting this video. Have you submitted this bug to Apple?
