    Thanks. How do I down convert the HD timeline in media composer and is there a way to not have a aspect ratio issue if it can be 16 x 9 ? Thanks again

    thanks will try… so basically I have to get the clips off the external and put them on one of the 4 drives I have hooked up to AVID etc…and go from there… Jan

    Thanks much, I did try P2CMS again and discovered that the reason I couldn’t import my clips in was because they were still locked… So after unlocking, I find this works very nicely!

    So, if I export a clip or a few clips lets say to a new folder on my desktop, can I change the name of the clip so that it doesn’t have those file numbers attached to its name, and also by changing the name, can any editor use this newly named clip and is the clip still pure in that it is of the same HQ resolution and retains meta data and all its other properties???     This is pricey, but I just rented a panasonic 7″ field monitor and it was fantastic. It had an anton Bauer mount for battery and was super light with a gorgeous picture: Again costly, but,could be worthwhile in long run! Jan

    What if I need to dump footage on to an external hard drive direct and it needs to be both mac and pc friendly to send off to avid editors ,not knowing which computer they are using etc… Thanks, just very new to P2 media etc… Jan
