But if i like to work with big projekts (many particle emitters, big stage size), which solution would be better:

1) 2 x 7800GTX working together in SLI technic (800 $)
or
2) 1 x Quadro FX3400 (1200$)

Could not find any Information about the performances on PI-Website.
The Benchmark results are very old.
