S.two will launch the OB-1 uncompressed recorder at NAB. In a press release today, they announced a global sales & marketing partnership with Band Pro and the units will be available following the show.
Sizewise, OB-1 measures 8x5x4 inches and weighs 6 pounds. It supports the feature sets of virtually all digital film cameras including the Sony F23 and 35, Arri’s D-21 and the Panasonic 3700; records uncompressed 4:4:4 RGB from 2 cameras simultaneously to DPX files with metadata support, requires less than 28 watts of camera power and is priced lower than any full-featured recorder (compressed or uncompressed)currently on the market.
