    These are raw files….highly compressed. It takes a lot of computer resources to get these ready for playback and they will never look beautiful in this raw format. They’ll often look choppy or pixelated, but this has nothing to do with quality. As I mentioned, these are raw, compressed files. You would be best to convert the files to an HD .mov format or mp4 with the H.264 codec. You’ll find the video looks a whole lot smoother after conversion.

  • I also have this problem with CS4 on a brand new iMac i7. It’s unfortunate that this question is not being taken seriously. It makes me think that people are trolling and criticizing instead of helping.
