PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY

With 10 years of post-production experience, specializing in online and offline editing, sound design as well as post-production workflow, I have mastered the skills to balance a tight deadline with innovation and creative output.

In 2007 I had achieved a BA(hons) in Motion Picture Sciences and was ready to conquer the world of film and television. These humble beginnings exposed me to the creative potential of South Africa as I worked across a variety of film genres including drama, documentary, international format reality, corporate videos, TV commercials and music videos.

I have worked for a number of high profile production houses from Quizzical Pictures (Curious Pictures), Rapid Blue, TinRage TV, Mann Made Media, Endemol and Combined Artists on productions such as Intersextions, Solving It, SA’s Got Talent, Carte Blanche and the highly acclaimed and award-winning series and feature film Hopeville.

During this time I was very fortunate to win Best Editor on a short film in 2007, and in 2011 I was nominated as Best Editor on a feature length film at the African Academy Awards.

I have also worked on a number of productions for agencies such as Draft FCB and Metropolitan Republic for corporate clients that include ABSA, MTN, Nike, Standard Bank, Liberty Life, Castle, Sony and 5FM.

After many years of freelancing I have found my niche at Endemol South Africa, who has provided me with the rare opportunity to build a world-class post-production facility. Following a year of research and creative conceptualization, and with the support of my wonderful team, a fully operational post-production facility with world-class infrastructure was transformed into a reality.
