Ya I was going to suggest clicking just below the thumbnail. Thats what I tend to do if I want it to start at the beginning

Did you try rendering the clip with the link in the timeline? I had issues with that in the past and when I would render the clip, that would tend to resolve the issue.

Another thing that would help in doing this is make sure that you don’t have any of your clips selected in the timeline. If you have a clip selected, it will put a marker inside the clip. If you have nothing selected in the timeline, it will put the markers up top. Glad you figured it out though ☺
