Hi Walter, As i understand it deinterlacing creates that slight stutter that helps mimic the frame rate of film. Am i wrong? do yu have an alternative way of making the video more like film?
Do you have an answer to the rest of my post?

Firstly, I posted a open query, and you decided to try and make me look small, or inferior (which thanks to a bunch of awards, and an unhealthy obsession with chocolate, I am neither)
Secondly, you seem to have hijacked my thread to start wittering about your own setup, and bring up an obvious bug-bear.
If you have something constructive to add to the thread, please share. otherwise, get knotted.

I have worked for 10 years in television and film, in production and post production.
So yes I do have “a background”.
The idea of the post was to gather “street level” research, and get opinions from people working right now, without prejudice.
I kept my experience as vague as possible for that reason.
