John! Thanks for the reply. I went there earlier last week and have made my choice to purchase the Lilliput monitor. Thanks again for the feedback, it is very much appreciated!

Daniel, thank you for the reply, I appreciate it very much. I know on the ebay bid page it has a video of people shooting with it. It looks great! I didn’t know how comfortable it would be because the shoulder mount looks different compared to other ones that hook onto your shoulder, so thank you again for that input, it was very helpful. And would it be okay to see a sample? Thank you!

I have actually been looking into buying this for awhile now. Have you’ve been able to get nice, steady shots with it? Also, can you compare it to the more expensive rigs? Thanks for posting this, hopefully more chime in on it.

Hey thanks Noah, I appreciate it. I’ll check it out!

  • I am considering using prime lenses for my camera, but I do not know much about lenses. I see all these different series like e or fd, I have no idea if they would be good for video work. I stumbled across this sellers store on ebay, and he has several older lenses: https://stores.ebay.com/Rokas-Photo-And-Video/_i.html?rt=nc&_nkw=lens%20FD&_sid=32443323&_trksid=p4634.c0.m14.l1513&_pgn=2. I would like to get a 28mm and a 135mm. I am using the 7d and t2i, would any of these prime lenses be good. Thank you!

Thanks again everybody for the feedback and help, it is greatly appreciated. Yeah, I don’t want to use my DSLRs for sports, I came across this camcorder, let me know if you think it is good for sports. https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200569007677&ssPageName=ADME:B:BCA:US:1123

As I stated earlier, I have a Sony pd-150 and I’m looking to go HD or close to it, but I am also on a budget (prefer lower than $2000). This camera seems affordable, but I know the audio isn’t as good as the pd-150’s. What do you guys recommend, holding off or purchasing this camera on ebay? I want a shoulder mount to get used to shooting sports that way as I want to do sports videography professioanlly. Thank you!

    Hey Noah and Richard,
Thanks for your feedback, I really appreciate it. Starting and learning on your own is tough, but I am slowly understanding things threw books, videos and the Cow. I understand what both of you are saying, when I use the stock lens for my T2i and I zoom, I do see a change and always wondered why. I do have another lens, which is the Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens because I heard it was good and cheap. I have not shot with it in low light conditions yet, but hopefully it’s good. Thanks again guys for the valuable feedback and your time.

Hey Michael, thanks for your input! I think the audio from the clips are pretty much gone! I believe the audio is gone completely from the H264 clips and the converted clips. I try to play them from the original location in iphoto and there is no audio still! I don’t no what else to do or how else to go back and find the original. I had the clips in final cut pro before converting and now they have the red slash on the clips!
    Thanks for your interest!
