| Favorite Bands / Musician | This is a pretty broad catagory. It would almost be easier to say what I don't like. Whinny C&W but stuff like Willie Nelson is Great. I actually cover Waylon Jennings songs myself so that's included too… Don't like Hip Hop. | Favorite Movies | Most Pixar Shorts like: For the Birds, Geri's Game, Jack Jack Attacks, Knick Knack, Lifted, Luxo Jr., Mater and the Ghostlight, Mikes new Card, One Man Band, Reds Dream, The adventures of Andre & Wally, Tin toy. Then there's the actual movies… Bugs Life, Cars, Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc. Ratatouille, The Incredibles, Toy Story, Wall-E, Chicken Rin, doogal, Flushed away, Hoodwinked, Horton Hears a Who, KugFu Panda, Madagascar, Robots, Shark Tale, Shrek, Space Chimps, the ant Bully The Bee Movie The Iron Giant, The Little Mermaid, The Rescuers, Sword in the Stone, that's just the 3D Animations Kids Pictures (I have GrandKids…, Then there are the off-beat movies like, Megas XLR, Metalocalypse, Sealab 2021, South Park, BASEketball, Bedtime Stories, Monsters vs Aliens, Orgazmo, X-Men Origins Wolverine, That's about 1/8th of what I like. |
| Favorite TV Shows | TV died a long time ago. Murph’s Thought of the Day: Cable TV as we know it will be dead in 10 years. With the studios creating and posting their content on sites like Hulu.com and ABC.com… they are collecting advertisement dollars directly instead of the cable companies. So in a way they themselves will see an increase in revenue directly as a result if these adventures. Even sites like CinemaNow and Amazon allow you to buy season passes to shows which is a fixed price per episode ANC then you pretty much own what would be on that DVD box set for that particular season. So these are almost or are direct revenue streams for the studios themselves. So the Cable company of today will need to adapt or they will be gone. There is also too much control that companies have over phone, cable and Internet at the moment. Which in a way is bad for the consumer but allows them to be somewhat flexible in the future. The days of the Bells is at an end as well and that is why you see AT&T moving into cell, cable and Internet providing. |
