    Hi Stuart,

    I use another video file to be render and it give me 18minutes to finish.It seems
    the previous files is having a problem with FCP 6.0.5. Its a wmv 1060i, also i install flip4mac.

    Any ideas have to render compress video format?

    Hi Stuart,

    Yes, exactly it is the setup of a Server.
    and I am running final cut pro 6.0 on this machine.

    cpu=2×2.8GHz Quad Core Intel Xeon
    memory = 8GB 800MHz FB-DIMM
    Display = Ati Radeon X1300
    Storage = External 16 bay Fibre RAID
    FC Card =LSI7404EP

    Fibre RAID SEtup=
    RAID LEVEL = 5 and 1
    1 RAID5 x 7 disk =1 LV
    1 RAID5 x 7 disk= 1LV
    1 RAID1 x 2 disk = 1 LV

    XSAN Configuration
    Strip Breadths =64
    Metadata =1 LV of raid1 x 2disk
    Video Volume =2 LV combined (ROUND ROBIN)
    SPOTLIGHT=disable

    I had upgrade FCP 6.0 to FCP 6.0.5 ,Writing Video during RENDER still the same it takes around 10days. Now I am using EFFECT HANDLING set to FINAL CUT PRO,Format =OFFLINE RT.
