I am having a separate issue with pixel aspect ratio. We are working with footage which is D1 720×486. We are exporting as apple pro res 422 to FCP 6. The footage is 16×9 when viewed in AE but when we import into FCP it is 4×3. Checking the anamorphic box in the sequence settings or item properties does not resolve. We were able to resolve by looking in the distort toggle in the Motion tab, when the clip is loaded into the viewer. It seems FCP cannot correctly interpret the footage and is doing an auto distort of 33% to the AE footage.

My question: Is there a render setting that will alleviate this issue, or must I undistort every frame which I send over from AE?
