Absolutely agree on quotes. otherwise really hard to know where you are.… happy to report after 16 years into the editing journey from a P/D background and no problems with the wrist this end. i think the problem is more to do with general posture when people have issues and not being balanced or correctly set in the chair. A good solid engaged core. Not leaning or over extending.
I hate the pen and tablet. I used a Wacom but no matter how it was set the cursor was always a but “drifty” and less accurate.
Some editors seem to feel using a mouse slows them down. I’m lucky, I’m never in that much of a hurry but found it more tactile and intuitive using a mouse.
I do understand if people are bashing out news pieces in a busy news room it could be an issue perhaps.

I pretty much always work in Proxy mode. It’s so easy to switch back to Optimised/Original if you need to.
Just because it’s a 20 year old workflow doesn’t mean it’s no good after all.

One of the things I most love about working with X is to be able to add a sound effect to B roll or some kind of graphic that might be up on v4 (or equivalent) and to put the associated sound effect right up there with it. In fact I tend to put them sit those audio fx on top of the clip. (Or make it a compound).
Doesn’t matter where it is because FCPX knows what is is through roles.

For sure I think both Sanders and Corbyn are saying stuff that it’s hard to disagree with. It’s a breath of fresh air to many. Touched a nerve.
Whether the very far left come out of the woodwork under Corbyn remains to be seen. That could be a problem for them. Tony Blair seems to be incredibly deluded. By coming out and saying all that stuff was a classic own goal. I would say he is probably the most despised politician we have ever had in the UK.
Will the USA allow us to dismantle our nuclear deterrent if Labour win the next election under Corbyn? I seriously doubt it. Although not a conspiracy theorist I do believe ultimately we have to do what we’re told. Once upon a time a deal was done and the USA came to our rescue twice. So now if the USA tells us to “jump” we say “how high?”
Will Bernie Sanders be the next Democratic presidential candidate? Odds over here on that are 6-1 with Hilary Clinton at 1 -3 (odds on) so seems unlikely.
Will Donald Trump be the next Republican candidate? Is that conceivable? Jeb Bush is 7 – 4 Trump is 7 – 2. Could it happen?
