I was one of those moaning as loud as I could and by the time they introduced dual viewers I had got used to it.
I hardly ever use two unless I need to match something specific.

Compared to traditional leather boots not Goretex lined? I would say as well but I wonder if that would stand up to scientific analysis.
Your feet do not seem to get hot in them. They are light and yet incredibly snug and supportive. The lacing system wraps the boot around your foot in a way that is so super comfortable they mould to the shape of your foot. Quite a high supportive boot but doesn’t feel it because they are light.
I wear them in the hills of the UK but also in the Austrian Alps where I have hiked up quite challenging low peaks in groups with people wearing more traditional heavy duty boots and never once felt like I was wearing footwear that was not up to the task.
I have worked my way through a lot of boots and thought I would never wear anything but leather – it was a hard sell to get me to buy them but it would take a lot to persuade me to wear anything else now. I persuaded a friend who lives in the Lake District to buy a pair and he hasn’t looked back either.
Really superb boots and worth the extra money for sure.

I think if I were Dennis I would find it much more galling to have to be a monthly or annual subscription to keep tabs on the competition.

That’s the thing they are genuine twins. if I make a change to one the change takes place in the other. If I rename one the other gets renamed also.
If I duplicate the project(s) I still cannot delete either of the ‘twins’.

No, as long as you have the browser active (cmd-1) and use keyboard shortcuts for keywords, it keeps playing.
On my home system with an oldish Imac it definitely stops. Will check other tomorrow thanks.

Thanks for the warning.
I always tend to copy back the event from the newer library into the main backup library before using stuff.
But it’s goof to have one’s card marked to deter me from getting lazy some day!

I create a library per project and events tend to be shoot days and if the project drifts on a long time and some new assets or pickups come in from an extra shoot day I will create a new event called pickups (for example).
However I always keep back up libraries and it becomes a bit onerous backing up the entire library so I tend to create an extra library having imported the new footage library called “extra day backup” (for example) and copy the new event into that (backup) library so it will sit alongside the main project library on my backup drive.
Then if something does go wrong I copy the contents of the extra library into the main library and “merge events”.
I suspect somebody is going to tell me this is a convoluted way of doing things but it kind of makes sense to me. Is there a better way?
